Dad's surgery went well and we are now working on recovery. During surgery the doctor saw no signs of advanced disease which is fantastic! So we are optimistic that all the cancer has been cut out and tossed in the trash. Dad will have a long road to recovery but we know he can do it. He will be in the hospital for about a week working on getting his strength up. Our goal is 3 walks a day and we are working on graduating up to a soft food diet. Thank you for all the positive energy everyone sent out in the world yesterday- We definitely felt it. Continue sending it this way as we work on getting dad ready to come home (and take on those pickleball courts)
